Marketing Associate / Marketing Director

Responsibilities Include:

  • Respond to inquiry calls from hospital discharge planners, families, and other referral sources.
  • Conduct facility tours.
  • Assist in the effective management of occupancy levels and census/premium mix enhancement.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Federal and state regulations and reimbursement (Managed Care, Medicare and Medicaid).
  • Monitor and evaluate customer satisfaction.
  • Comply with Company policies involving all safety and infection control procedures.
  • Understand, comply with and promote all rules and regulations regarding residents’ rights; promote positive relationships with residents, visitors and regulators, to include presenting a professional appearance.
  • General Ledger entries

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
  • Previous health care community relations experience preferred but not required.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, reimbursement program from payer sources.
  • Basic understanding of computer technology, including email use.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form.
  • Must meet all local health regulations, and pass post-offer, pre-employment physical exam.

Accounting Assistant

We are currently seeking an Account Payable/Payroll Specialist to assist in the overall function of the Business Office.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Employee time and attendance hourly calculation, processing and monitoring
  • Bi-monthly Payroll processing
  • Calculation and input of Employee Health Insurance and Other Benefits
  • Proper calculation and posting of Employee Sick and Vacation Accruals
  • Timely processing of Vendor Invoices and Payments (Cash Disbursement)
  • Proper coding of Expenses (SNF and Sub-Acute)
  • Proper allocation and accrual/prepayment of Expenses
  • General Ledger entries

Work with or support the Business Office Manager in planning all aspect of Business Office functions to include interface with all other disciplines and department. May assist with the management of records, budgets and supplies.

Requirements:

  • Must have an Accounting experience or related field.
  • Knowledgeable PointClickCare , Microsoft Office Applications, Paychex -Preview Payroll and Paychex-Time And Labor
  • Knowledgeable in Accounts Payable and Payroll
  • Related administrative experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
  • Experience in a skilled nursing facilities setting preferred and/or Sub-Acute.

Amberwood Gardens is a 258-bed Skilled Nursing and Sub Acute facility. We are currently seeking a friendly, outgoing Activities Assistant to fill a full-time position

FULL-TIME Activities Assistants are responsible to assist the Recreation Services Director in the development, organization, coordination and implementation of comprehensive therapeutic recreation services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each resident.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner; Complete required documentation; Contribute to resident care planning preparation; Attend and contribute to Recreation Services Department meetings.
  • Provide individual programming as assigned; Maintain recreation department supplies and equipment; Work with volunteers as assigned by Recreation Services Director; Assist with planning and leadership of special events
  • Adhere to universal precautions and sanitary, safety and infection control policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent with knowledge of the practical application of recreation service programs.
  • Ability to work with Resident’s with varying disabilities.
